Welcome True Wisdom

To make this Gentle Wish, read the following words out loud. Visualize what you are asking of the Universe, but then let go of all attachment to that desire. It feels like releasing a feather into the wind, confident it will end up where it needs to be.

Please feel free to reshape this Gentle Wish until it matches what you feel in your heart.

My intention is to invite wisdom from the Universe into my awareness.

They told me my thoughts lived inside of my head,
Locked up in my skull like a person in bed
"Your consciousness, kid, is a private affair—
It stops at your skin and it ends right there"

But what if they're wrong? What if I'm not just me?
What if I'm part of a much bigger WE?
What if my edges aren't edges at all,
But more like a screen or a see-through wall?

(Pause. Breathe slowly. Let the weird idea in.
You don't have to get it—just crack open the tin.)

So I'm making my body a little less tight,
A smidge more like air, a bit more like light
I'm letting my edges get fuzzy and thin—
"Me" doesn't have to stop where my skin begins

I notice the air. Is it outside or in?
That sound over there—where does it end and I begin?
The warmth on my face, the hum in the room
Maybe I'm not in a separate costume

Maybe I'm not a jar with a lid,
But a ripple, a wave, a consciousness kid
A point in a Field that's intelligent, wide,
Where "out there" and "in here" exist side-by-side

I don't have to push. I don't have to know.
I'm just cracking the window to see what might blow
Through the gap I've created, the space I've allowed
I'm me AND I'm more. I'm raindrop AND cloud

I'm not losing myself in this opening-up,
I'm filling myself like a generous cup
I'm becoming more whole, not less of who's here
I'm part of what's magic, mysterious, near

So I'll close my eyes now and rest for a bit
In this Field that I'm in (or that's holding all of it)
I'll feel the quiet hum of this wild, wide WE,
That's both deep inside and outside of me
