Be Incredibly Calm

To make this Gentle Wish, read the following words out loud. Visualize what you are asking of the Universe, but then let go of all attachment to that desire. It feels like releasing a feather into the wind, confident it will end up where it needs to be.

My intention is to turn towards calm whenever it is healthiest to do so.

With this Gentle Wish, I am creating a physical signal I can send to my body without using words.

This signal tells my body that my intent is to release all stress and anxiety, because I can best manage this moment in a state of deep calm.

The signal can be whatever I choose: crossing two fingers, grabbing my left wrist with my right hand, blinking twice. It’s entirely up to me.

When I use this signal, my body and mind will sink into deep calm. I will be surrounded by warmth and safety.

Time will move slower, in a good way, giving me the space I need to make healthy, safe, wise decisions.

My breathing pattern will deepen. I will breathe into my belly and then into my chest. With each exhale, I will release any remaining stress.

I will be pleasantly surprised by the extent to which my body and brain are capable of relaxing. My level of relaxation will surpass anything I have felt before.

The more life demands from me, the calmer I will become.

I make this wish, and I release it. In time, my signal will invite the deep calm I am inviting into my life. Until then, I will allow the Universe grace.

I will be patient. I will allow things to unfold as they should.
